2008 Meet Schedule
These are the meets that the coaching staff has decided that
MHSC will participate in. If you are interested in seeing a complete list
of the meets to be held in our region click the link to go the

All attempts are made to keep this page up-to-date.
However, you should also check the
Pacific Swimming 2008 Schedule if you do not see the [meet sheet] [online
entries] links to confirm if a meet is open for registration.

Message from Head Coach Mark Scott
(08/18/2008):
You may detect that most meets selected for this
Fall’s Short Course Meet Schedule target Zone 1S (our Zone), are either home or
quite close, and with 7 meets possible during 20 weeks of Short Course Season,
is about one meet every three weeks. This is not an excessively busy meet
schedule!! The last 3 years the Makos have been averaging well under 25% of
membership participating at meets. It’s a competitive sport, and we use
performance at meets to determine whether our training is effective or not. We
need to have ALL our members attending meets on a regular basis, at least one
day per meet! If you don’t know whether your swimmer is ready to sign up or not,
or which events to sign up for, ask your Coach!!
